About

I received my Bachelor of Science in Nursing and have worked as an RN for 10 years now. I work in a major metropolitan hospital where I circulate to all areas of the hospital, I am in the "Critical Care Float Pool". An interest in health and healing is what led me to pursue my career in the medical field. Unfortunately, I have not seen as much healing as I had hoped for. I have been struggling with what I do in my day-to-day of pushing pills and “fixing” people who continue to dietarily re-offend their bodies. It is questionable as to how much help I am actually giving the grossly misinformed population we see in our hospital. Very little to no information is given on diet and preventative care. This has frustrated me for years and led me to develop a very strong passion for nutrition and all of the healing that stems from properly nourishing our bodies.

I went back to school for Holistic Nutrition, where I learned to counsel people on how to live a better life through good nutrition. This is what I truly love to do! Helping people to heal their bodies through diet and lifestyle changes is the most rewarding experience I can think of.

Having children of my own inspired me to take a particular interest in the health of women and their babies. Limited nutritional information was provided to me when I became pregnant with my first child. I plan to change that for women. The program I have developed is helping me to achieve this goal.
